About Us

We are fairly new to German Shorthair Pointers, but after getting our first shorthair ‘Sadie’, we were hooked.

Looking for a stud dog for our female, we found Karen Ibbitson of Malhaven Kennels, and with her help were introduced to the show and field arenas of the dog world. We bred to her Champion Max, and from that Arrow was born. Arrow took us through the show world and with his successes we decided another female was needed. Again, Karen helped pick the

Arrow, with handler Ingrid Winkler, attaining his Championship with a Fourth in Group
and Best Puppy In Group.

Cricket, with handler Peggy Mignon, taking Best of Winners
and Best Puppy in Breed and then soon going on to gain her championship.

perfect match for Arrow and Cricket joined the family. We now have ‘Grace’ from that breeding.

We registered our kennel name in 2007, and are looking forward to many more forays into the show ring and getting into the field.

We are currently members of The Red Deer and District Kennel Club, the Canadian Kennel Club, the German Shorthair Club of Canada and the German Shorthair Field Club of Alberta.
